About Annie Cloonan

Annie recently moved back to Georgia from Washington, D.C., to chase her dream of being a professional motorcycle racer.

Annie grew up around the track, thanks to her dad (John, if you couldn’t tell), and started riding a Yamaha PW-50 dirtbike at age 5. After passing the MSF DirtBike School at age 8, she rode rental dirtbikes until receiving a Yamaha TTR-125 at age 11. She continued riding dirtbikes until receiving her street license for her 18th birthday, when she was also gifted a Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

After selling her bike to help pay for college, her dad later bought a Benelli TNT135 to race and challenged Annie to join him on the track. So, like everyone does for their 21st birthday, Annie went racing. She hasn’t missed a race since, and has now moved up to racing the Kawasaki Ninja 300!

Annie’s goals for 2026 are to win at least one regional championship, and to be chosen for Royal Enfield’s Build.Train.Race program.

Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics from Agnes Scott College, and has a long-term goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in mathematical epidemiology. She loves playing pool, training in the gym (including competing in multiple powerlifting competitions), and obsessing over her Stardew Valley farm.
